Quality healthcare is supposed to be a fundamental or basic need for human life. Every person therefore, is entitled to receiving quality healthcare as a right. Healthcare and insurance are two terminologies that have of late been used quite inseparably. While healthcare entail the actual activities of receiving medical care, such as the diagnosis and treatment and all the services therein, health insurance now comes in to define the means through which one can manage to get such services. Medical insurance therefore, comes in as the third party that ensures one is able to afford and be accorded the quality healthcare that one deserves. This was the nation’s first fully fledged insurance package under the Affordable Care Act. It has two distinct programs.
