The record distinct in my memory of the simulated day will include the maturity of the catheter management process and the consequence of the evidence-based approach in nursing care. This reflection will focus on the key concepts learned during this transformational period and discus the role of evidence-based interventions in improving patient outcomes. The simulation day begins with the distribution of case study ‘a 78-year- old patient with gastrointestinal problems. Nevertheless, only during the afternoon lecture did my exploration take off. Under the supervision of my preceptor, we began a study on catheter management, an area that would turn out to be both highly illuminating and greatly challenging.
