The assigned reading of the University of Wisconsin Extension’s resource (see Resource List for Week 6) (https://fyi(dot)extension(dot)wisc(dot)edu/programdevelopment/logic-models/) provides an overview, examples, and templates for developing logic models. As you work through the Logic Model lessons online, the program asks you to do “practice” sheets and “exercises”. Please do so. By the end of the online lessons, you will have created the components of a logic model for a situation at your organization and created key evaluation questions for future assessment.
In this assignment, you will create and submit a logic model for improved program performance for a program of your choice. Along with the logic model “picture” and the required evaluation questions, write a one-page double-spaced explanation about why you chose your particular “issue” for the logic model. Help me understand your situation in this one-page rationale.
I have posted Logic model templates and examples within Course Materials – Week 6. To create the logic model either use the templates available in Blackboard or create your own. PowerPoint and Word both have the capacity to create the graphics necessary to create logic models.
