Procedure/Methodology – Needs Analysis Your Name Subject and Section Professor’s Name October 12, 2024 Procedure/Methodology – Needs Analysis In order to conduct this needs analysis, all participants agreed, and one underwent a semi-structured interview with this cultural population. This approach was adopted to obtain qualitative data that would explore the community's perception of the principles of circular economy and ascertain their knowledge, skills, and attitude towards sustainable practices. Naz et al. (2022) note that since an interview schedule guides semi-structured interviews, the interviewer can elaborate on some regions of concern in the needs analysis. The semi-structured interview provided flexibility to raise general practices such as recycling, reusing, or repairing at the community level and how they fit into the circular economy. This was possible by using open-ended questions that made it possible to determine the interviewee's level of understanding of the circular economy. For instance, the interviewee responded that many traditional practices in the community involve recycling used materials such as fabric for carpets and repairing cars due to a lack of resources. These findings proved helpful in establishing what the community is already doing about a circular economy and what is unknown regarding policies and formal programs on the subject. Needs Analysis Approach The interview incorporated needs analysis at the organizational, job/task, and personal levels, as Sundari and Kusmiati (2022) proposed in their work. Each of them corresponds to various concerns of the community about practicing a circular economy.
