Women empowerment has enabled most women to come out and take part in economic development in various countries across the world. Women have not only joined businesses, but they have also challenged for managerial posts in different organization. Despite the fact that women are able to hold managerial posts in some organizations, they are still being discriminated against. There are several stereotypes that have been spread against women that make it difficult for people to embrace women’s leadership. In the U.S, 51% of women have been employed in different organizations. Out of these employed women, 16% are holding executive managerial posts like directors in several organizations in US. In a country like China, both men and women are still not ready for women managers. Chile on the other hand, the sample research that was conducted showed that both women and men are having positive attitude towards leadership in different organizations. One thing that is common in both women and men holding different managerial positions in different organizations is that they are both applying Weber’s bureaucratic theory. It was also discovered that most of the organizations are conforming to the demands of various feminist groups by enabling most women to hold various managerial positions in different organizations. One thing that is clear is that most people are not yet for women leadership especially executive managerial positions like directors and chief executive officers. There are still very few women sitting among the board of directors in most organizations across the world. This was confirmed by the research that was carried out in different sectors like car manufacturing industries, banking and investments, and in the information technology sectors. It was revealed that in the three sectors that the research was carried in, it was discovered that women were only occupying only 16.1% of executive positions in banking and investments, in car manufacturing industry women only occupied only 16.5% of all the executive positions and all the executive positions in the information technology women occupied only 17%.
