Since Escherichia coli were first identified various strains have been singled out causing human and animal diseases. Humans are at risk of developing diseases and severe infection when in contact with E.coli, and determine the different strains and their concentration is necessary to determine whether animals and human beings are vulnerable to the bacteria. The chicken is a reservoir of the E.coli, and close contact with the birds may increase the risk of infections, highlighting the need to analyze the source of E.coli (Laube et al., 2014).
