The farewell address for George Washington is one that brings out the humble leader that he was. One, it is clear that he was grateful to the American citizens for having believed in his abilities to become the American president. At the same time, he did not want to be given that mandate again. For him, these two terms as he stated in the farewell were enough and he had made the much impact that he had wanted to make to the country.
