The interview of Angela Davis mostly talks about the Black Lives Matter movement and feminism for all races, making me choose feminism as the main issue to discuss in this writing. Women's right has grown for the past years; they are now given the same rights as men these days, compare to 30 or 50 years ago where women's are discriminated by men is some ways. Women's belittlement is not only limited to one's locality, but it is an issue worldwide. Perhaps women nowadays are given an equal right similar to men because of the numerous campaigns of the simple citizens.
As time pass by, the Internet is invented, and gathering and sharing information is as easy as ever. With this, the woman started to realize the discrimination against women is a global issue. Davis said in the interview that in the past, she uses written email as a medium of communication which is slower and can take days to be delivered. She also said that in the advancement of technology, she took a chance at it and used it in her profession. Even though today there is a little discrimination present worldwide, making women's rights the same as men are considered a success.
