The research conference highlighted various issues relating to healthcare and virtual nursing education during the Covid-19 era. The Covid-19 related educational institutions shutdown shifted the nursing training from conventional face-to-face learning to online classrooms. Nevertheless, I think remote or virtual education is the future of nursing training as the Coronavirus pandemic persists. However, there are gaps in determining the appropriate educational methodology to foster clinical skills competencies among students within virtual learning contexts. Virtual learning possibilities could also heighten educational disparities within nursing education since students come from diverse social-economic backgrounds. Education sectors across the globe need to re-examine their nursing practicum and design an innovative learning approach that offers opportunities for all students to gain practical clinical knowledge. Regarding learning disparities, governments should consider providing online learning materials and tools to economically disadvantaged students to enhance equity within the nursing education curriculum.
