This is a course reflection writing. I need fill in in my answers to full fill my word count. This class was not an in class or an online “scheduled” class. It was read the assigned articles and reflect on it. More of teaching yourself class. Down below are my answers and I just need fill in. There are 6 questions. At the very bottom there is the writing prompt. I will also upload my beginning of semester goal assignment and my two completed writing assignment just in case they are needed to full fill the assignment. One is a proud writing of mine and the other is challenging writing of mine.

My Answers:

1. I believe I did very well in the course this semester. I I received good and excellent feedbacks from my professor. I completed all the assignments that were assigned to us with well thoGuthrie writing.

2. I was able to meet majority of the goals this semester. I was able to improve on my time Managment by planning ahead and getting majority of my assignments turned in on time. I was able to get some knowledge and understanding to work in my career (pre-med major). I was not able to get to connect with people but looking forward in my next semester as this is my first semester in this University (Transfer student). I was able to find my self explain the subject and informations about the subject to my friend and make a conversation about. I have seen my writing skills increase. [I need more writing here about anthropology]. I was able to do practice writing and doing deep research on the given articles but was not able to experiment anything in the clinic.

3. I received great feedback from the professor and tried to keep up the good work. You do a great job using the texts and thinking with them together.

“Just a helpful note. 3 or less authors, you can cite as (Author Author and Author YearPublished). "et al." is for more than 3 authors. It doesn't matter for this assignment as it isn't formal writing but for other classes where you are required to write formally, that will be helpful.” I was able to prevent this mistake from happening again in my writings because the next assignment I received a great feedback on my citation.

“Thank you for citing effectively and thinking succinctly with the text.”

This motivated me to put more effort into my writing.

“ Excellent use of the text!” This proved that I am doing what I am supposed to do and putting the feedbacks into work.

“ You effectively use the text. Black Americans are subject to higher rates of many chronic diseases as well as infectious diseases because the physiological effects of stress results in a weak-functioning immune system. Of course this has implications for COVID and the data back it up. https://link(dot)springer(dot)com/article/10.1007/s40615-020-00923-3” This shows that I need to continue to effectively use the text which is what i continued to do.



4. I am proud of the “Reaction Statement: Epidemic Disease and Empire pt.1” writing assignment because I received a great positive feedback from the professor, “ Thank you for citing effectively and thinking succinctly with the text.” This shows I am improving in my writing skills.

The challenging submission was “Reaction Statement: Zoonosis” because this was the first writing assignment reflection so I was not sure how to effectively use the text in my reflection to make everything clear to the audience.



5. What I learned in the class is there are so many plague and viruses from the past and we need to use history to fight against the next pandemic.



6. I believe I deserve an A for the course because I not only completed the assignments assigned but completed them with well detail oriented approach and effectively the text in my assignments and discussions.

1. I believe I did very well in the course this semester. I received good and excellent feedbacks from my professor. I completed all the assignments that were assigned to us with well thoGuthrie writing. Further, I believe that I was able to learn what was expected of me. There are times that we have finished a semester, and I have felt out of place. However, throughout this semester, I have felt right in place, especially with this course. I have delivered my assignments based on my understanding of the tasks and the content taught in class and not on hours of online research. Therefore, I believe that I have done well in the course.

With regards to anthropology and understanding what makes people who they are, I believe that I have developed a better understanding of the same. Currently, I have the understanding that a person is a sum of different aspects and elements that inform their character and personality.
3. I received great feedback from the professor and tried to keep up the good work. First, I received feedback on how to cite three or fewer authors, and I managed to use the feedback. For example, I received these two feedbacks on citing:

With such feedback, I managed to make use of it not just for this class, but in all my assignments. I avoided making the same mistakes I was making before, and my writing improved greatly. Currently, I receive good feedback, especially on how I cite. I once received this, “Thank you for citing effectively and thinking succinctly with the text.” Such feedback has helped me to put more effort into and be mindful of my writing.
Aside from citing, I also received feedback on how I use text to aid my writing. “Excellent use of the text!” This feedback proved that I am doing what I am supposed to do, especially with regard to making use of a text that we were expected to read. Such feedback is crucial as it helped me realize that my writing is improving. Being able to use the text means that I can borrow ideas from a text, add something to the ideas, and then project my thought.
