The effects of global warming continue to reveal themselves on a daily basis. One of them is ice melting in the arctic region. In this presentation, we look at the effects of this melting of ice on the people living in such Polar Regions. The Arctic region is losing mass at an alarming rate, which plays a significant role in the global sea-level rise. Variations in sea melting of ice shelves cause the whole ice loss, although it is uncertain if these alterations can be related to natural climate change. This region has over four million residents, and of this population, 10 percent are indigenous to the area.
