Multidimensional Perspective

The multidimensional perspective is a theory that considers three basic dimensions of assessing human behavior and the social environment: biological, psychological, and social. Together they are referred to as the biopsychosocial theory or multidimensional perspective. This theory includes multiple systems that are organized in a hierarchy of levels from the smallest (cellular) to the largest (social). These systems are in a constant state of interaction with each other and influence human behavior.

The case study deals with Mrs. Morgan's situation, which appears to be complex in terms of her problems. These problems include the following.

1 Mrs. Morgan has resistance and oppositional behavior, which happens because of Mrs. Morgan relocating from her home to her daughter's residence.

2 Mrs. Morgan's anger and frustration are seen in her expressions towards her daughter and son-in-law. The reason is because they moved her from her home.

3 Another problem is the refusal to adapt. Mrs. Morgan is taken to a new environment and needs to adapt, decreasing participation in activities. There is also a need for acceptance of the changes.
