4. Project Schedule
The ASS concept is a complex, multi-phased project. Tasks, activities, costs and schedules are expected to experience differential delays or, conversely leads to a diversity of opportunities, challenges and constraints discussed in earlier project proposal, plan and work breakdown structure (WBS) documents. The planing of ASS schedule should, accordingly, proceed cautiously and account for understandable controllable and uncontrollable emerging and/or existing complexities and variables. The following graphs and representations are informed by such understanding of current project’s complexity and should not, as such, be accepted as final yet as only indicatory of project’s overall schedule and duration. The following sections include: (i) Basic Activity Network Diagram (BAND), (ii) Predecessor Task/Activity Table, (iii) Complete Activity Network Diagram Without Activity Nodes (CAND-W/O ANs),
* Complete Activity Nodes, (v) Activity Duration Estimates & Estimated Duration, (vi) Critical Path, and (vii) Gantt Chart.
4.1. Basic Activity Network Diagram (BAND)
This diagram, shown in Figure 1 below, shows major Tasks and Activities in ASS according to project’s “Aerial Solar System – Project Proposal,” “Project Plan,” and “WBS, RAM, Work Authorization & Work Charter” documents.

4.2. Predecessor Task/Activity Table
The BAND, shown in Figure 1, is, as noted, only schematic. The assignment of predecessors, i.e. Tasks/Activities preceding shown ones, as well as most likely duration for each Task/Activity, is required in order to proceed to Complete Activity Network Diagram Without Activity Nodes (CAND-W/O ANs). 4.3. Complete Activity Network Diagram Without Activity Nodes (CAND-W/O ANs) The Predecessor Task/Activity Table makes possible developing a more complete
activity network. For current purposes, an activity network is developed, initially in Figure 2, without including activity nodes for effective visual illustration and, eventually in Figure 3, including detailed activity nodes.
