Personal Assessment
As a leader, I understand the importance of personal values, leadership styles, motivators, and competencies in shaping my leadership journey. I am guided by values such as integrity, compassion, and respect for others. These values keep me honest and allow me to appreciate others for who they are without judgment. I also possess a pragmatic leadership style, which entails using logical thinking and practical problem-solving approaches to lead others. I aspire to use this leadership style to empower my trainees with problem-solving skills.
My motivators as a leader have changed over the years. Currently, I am most motivated by the quality of life I lead with my loved ones. I find joy, happiness, and peace through my interactions with my loved ones. Having quality relationships with them motivates me as a leader. My leadership journey is also influenced by my core competencies, namely accountability and effective communication. Through accountability, I am responsible for my actions and the consequences of those actions. Additionally, through effective communication, I can articulate my ideas and share them clearly with others.
Vision Statement
My vision is to be among the most prominent leaders and to be known for my accountability, openness, and leniency. To achieve this vision, I must develop advanced skills in problem-solving and management practices within the next decade. These skills will allow me to enhance my pragmatic leadership, characterized by compassion, integrity, and respect.
Obstacles
I will most likely encounter internal and external obstacles in achieving my vision. Internal barriers are within my control and include fear of failure, lack of confidence, loss of employees' trust, and difficulties maintaining authenticity. I will overcome these obstacles by changing my mindset, setting goals and objectives, and focusing on factors that motivate me.
