The act of communicating entails passing information between multiple people using not only spoken channels but also written and nonverbal. Communication problems at work can result from several things, such as divergent perceptions, information filtering, language difficulties, jargon and ambiguous terminology, and cultural or gender disparities. Examples of real-world work situations that relate to these ideas are provided below.
In a prior position, I was part of a multicultural team with people from various ethnic origins and varying language skills. We frequently ran against obstructions to good communication throughout team meetings. In my recall, one particular situation leaps out.
