At the end of this activity, you will be able to evaluate the process writing of others for clarity, effectiveness, and tone.

For this discussion, you must first locate an example of process writing. This could be from a detailed recipe, a set of instructions, an owner's manual for a product, or a “how-to” website. Once you locate the piece, your task is to evaluate the writing. If you have a link, be sure to share it.
Respond to the following:
• What process is being described? Are the instructions clear? Would you be able to follow them?
• Does the writing work well for its target audience? How do you know?
• What would you do to make this process writing more effective?
Post your primary response (150 – 200 words). Read any postings already provided by your instructor or fellow students. Read and respond to the conclusions drawn by at least two of your classmates. Remember to read the feedback to your own major postings and reply to it throughout the module.
