Abstract
Global climate change has become a major concern today. These concerns have created more panic in the subjects involved instead of looking for strategies and solutions for global climate change. These situations have presented a crisis where there are uncertainties of predictions in climate change. The main reason as to why people should be concerned with global climate change is because climate change has shifted its impact on the health of the earth. Some of these impacts can be direct or indirect; direct impacts are like stronger heat waves and storms while indirect impacts are like food insecurity, changes in food supply. Global climate change alters weather patterns such that diseases can spread out through the regions.
There is a need for actions even though there are uncertainties of predicted climate changes. In order to resolve these problems, researchers should look for certain components that will be able to characterize this problem. This paper addresses all the issues affecting the human population. Some of these changes come as a result of climate change, and their adverse effects are fatal. Both human-made and natural causes can influence climate change. Activities like deforestation, industrialization, emission of greenhouse gases have led to the depletion of the ozone layer causing global warming. This paper will focus on the causes and impacts of climate change as well as why there is a need to address these changes within the shortest time possible.

Introduction
According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Global climate change, climate change has a lot of adverse effects on the economy like crop production. Climate change has also exposed people to major global risks. For instance, climate change has caused a rise in sea levels. The emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases is a major concern in the world today. Global warming has led to an increase in the average temperatures and the precipitation of the earth. Alternatively, global warming has imperative impacts in agriculture, the interaction of carbon dioxide on the atmosphere and the interactivity of organisms in their environs. These conditions have undermined the capability of the biosphere to produce enough food for the human population and animals. The overall effects of global climate change have affected the human populace.
Agriculture has contributed a lot to global warming, especially through the production and release of greenhouse gases like nitrous oxide, methane, and carbon dioxide. These gases have also altered the land cover, which has the ability of the earth to absorb light and heart and this has caused radioactive forcing. Changes in the manner in which the land is used like desertification and deforestations, burning fossils are the major sources of carbon dioxide while agriculture itself is the main producer of methane and nitrous oxide in the atmosphere. The impacts of agriculture in climate is recounted to all the variabilities of the local climate instead of the global climate pattern. The average temperatures of the earth have intensified from 1880, and there is evidence that temperatures are continuing to warm due to the increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
According to (Daniel, 2011), continued emission of greenhouse gases has induced many changes in the global climate. As a result, there is a change on the sea levels, and this poses much danger on people living along the low lying coastal regions. People are also exposed to other natural hazards like floods for example flash floods, river floods and urban floods, heavy storms, drainage congestions, river bank erosions, and salinity. These catastrophic activities have hindered crop production. Extreme changes in climate hurt soil fertility and have also increased soil erosion. Additionally, the use of organic components on crops in order to maintain productivity has effects on the soil. Crops are exposed to increased temperatures as a result of changing temperatures.
Methods
Scientific methods are very important when evaluating the subject matter. This paper focused mainly on secondary data. Some of the sources that supported the subject matter on these papers were reports in different published journals and articles and reports on the global effects of climate change. This paper is a review paper, and there are no specific methods that were followed and evaluated in preparing the paper. The paper has been prepared by comprehensive evaluations of various articles and journals, books, internet searches and proceedings that were available in the libraries of BRRI and BSMRAU. Valuable information and data have been collected from personal contacts with particular resource personnel to supplement the paper. From these sources, all the related information was prepared to prepare this paper.
Results
According to the research, several papers have illustrated how climate change has increased over the past few years. Additionally, some different research papers have also been published between 1991and 2010 (Chakrabarty, Roy, & Chand, 2012). This indicates that the effects of climate change have doubled over the past few years. The reports also illustrate that there is a need for further research on the furtherance of climate change because the effects impacts and risks of climate change have become serious. Global climate change has a lot of effects agriculture due to changes in rainfall, temperatures, climate and this has become an imperative field of investigation with the research of climate change. Climate change is likely to affect food production, and this has increased the chances of food insecurity.
