St. Matthew's House is a non-profit organization that provides essential services to individuals and families struggling with poverty, homelessness, addiction, and other life challenges in South West Florida. This paper highlights St. Matthew's House Justin's place recovery program and explores how Saint Matthews House can strategically implement electronic health records (EHR) as an innovative solution to enhance patient care, streamline administrative tasks, and improve overall efficiency. It also incorporates a SWOT analysis, synthesis of the environmental assessment, and assessment of the organization's vision, mission, culture/values, and strategic plan. It integrates relevant environmental changes to establish the basis for St. Matthew's House strategic plan.

A considerable financial commitment is necessary to deploy EHR, including purchasing hardware and software, employee training, and ongoing maintenance expenses (Huang et al., 2020). The availability of financial resources can influence the rate and scope of EHR adoption. St. Matthew's House will need to evaluate its financial capacity to make sure it has enough resources to support the adoption of EHR without jeopardizing other crucial organizational functions. Lastly, the regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry are meant to protect healthcare consumers from possible health risks and provide a safe environment for healthcare professionals. Where the Proposed Solution can Occur

It is also essential to keep these records safe as, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (2020), the average relapse rate for addiction patients is 40-60%. By adopting EHRs, St. Matthew's House would be better equipped to collect, analyze, and leverage data to improve patient outcomes and drive operational efficiencies. Other indicators that will be enhanced with its adoption include the organization's revenue and patient satisfaction rate.
