According to the World Health Organization (2019), more than 30% of global mortality is attributable to very few risks. In their view the five major mortality risks are hypertension, tobacco use, diabetes, physical inactivity and obesity. This report focuses on physical inactivity in the city of London, England, which is suffering an epidemic of hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
