Introduction
An individual is likely to fall sick at one point or another. Even though there are different health conditions, one of the most common illnesses that have attracted much attention is myocardial infarction, also known as “heart attack.” This condition occurs after the obstruction of the blood flow of the heart muscle, known as myocardium, by the partial or total blockage of the coronary artery plaques or atherosclerosis buildup. One of the interesting features of the following condition is that even though there are some instances in which it can be "silent” and remain undetected, there are other instances where this condition can be catastrophic, making the person suffer from hemodynamic deterioration and causing sudden death. Since every individual is likely to have this condition, it is critical to have an in-depth understanding of it for people to know the signs they should check and seek treatment before the condition worsens.

Even though people have been suffering from Myocardial infarction for many years. For example, research shows that this disease has existed for more than 4000 years. Even though this disease has existed for many years, it is still unknown. It was still the 18th century when individuals started researching this condition. For instance, in the 18th century, an English physician called John Hunter painted the clinical picture regarding chest pain which he referred to as angina pectoris. He supported that there should be a transformation where the trained nurses should ensure that they carefully adhere to apex beat rate and rhythm. The main reason is that the following procedure will help them to treat arrhythmias promptly. Levine also highlighted the quinidine use in the ventricular tachycardia and adrenaline in the AV block.

Even though myocardial infarction is risky, the condition could have been managed if people had discovered it early before it worsened. However, most people fail to seek treatment early since they do not know the symptoms they should check. One of the common symptoms is that the person is likely to have chest pain. This chest pain will likely travel from the left side of the individual’s arm to the neck (Lu et al., 2015). Furthermore, the person is likely to have shortness of breath, vomiting, nausea, abnormal heart beating, and nausea. In other instances, the person can have increased anxiety, depression, and stress.
