As an effective approach to usher in a new month, I opted to join other peers originating across different states. This meeting connected individuals heavily affected by alcohol addiction aftermaths. It became successful over a Zoom meeting that encompassed 55 members. Every newcomer, including me, received a warm welcome into the meeting that aimed to discuss common issues like alcoholism affecting the youth.
Alongside other participants, I keenly listened as others shared their regular experiences and battles with alcoholism. It was saddening to acknowledge that drinking can mess up people’s lives, affect their lifestyles, make them lose meaning about life, and, most importantly, make them feel powerless and so...
