A Blueprint for Effective Early Childhood Classroom Management
Assignment Content
Choose 1 early childhood age/grade level (preschool–grade 3).
Create a mind map that outlines a classroom setting theme and includes visual representations of effective early childhood classroom management. This is not a diagram of the classroom. It is a MIND MAP. To create your mind map, use Prezi or another instructor-approved mapping tool. You will find a list of such tools in the Technology Resources Library. Prezi presentations are naturally a mind map and can be used as one just as it is. You should not pay for an account. You should be able to get a free account.
Include the following in your design:
Learning centers (e.g., literacy, math, cognitive, manipulative, science, dramatic play, block and construction, creative art, etc.)
Area for whole-group activities
Area for quiet activities or personal escape
Furniture (e.g., cubbies, shelves, tables, chairs, etc.)
Boards (e.g., bulletin boards, whiteboards, etc.)
Any other furniture, materials, or spaces
Write a minimum 1-page rationale for your design in which you:
Identify the plan's grade level.
Explain how the classroom setting influences a positive learning environment.
Explain how the classroom setting will assist in managing your classroom's diversity and social dynamics.
Explain how the classroom setting promotes and maintains appropriate student behavior.
Describe 1 or 2 possible uses of adaptive or assistive technology (AT) to support diverse learners.
Cite references to support your assignment.

Submit your assignment.
You do not need to define things in the mind map it is more like bullet points and an organization of items. Here are some examples of what a mind map looks like. Then your second level of circles would be the bullet points that are described in the assignment description.

Soft cushions and cuddly animals in quiet nooks make children feel safe, encouraging reading and peaceful activities. So, the classroom becomes a welcoming, supportive atmosphere where kids feel inspired and eager to learn.
