Fun Script: 3D versus 2D Name Institution Date Fun Script: 3D versus 2D Scene 1 The setting is in Porky Pig’s house. Porky Pig had invited Betty Boop over to watch a movie. Betty Boop arrives at the gate and calls her friend to open the gate. Porky Pig does so, and Betty Boop drives into the compound and parks inside. She gets out to greet her friend. Betty Boop: (Stretches her arm to greet Porky Pig) Hello, friend. Long time no see. Porky Pig: For sure, it has been a minute. (He starts leading Betty Boop into the house as he continues with the conversation). What have you been up to lately? Betty Boop: Working in the studio, but that is now normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. Porky Pig: I kind of felt you would say that being the workaholic you have always been. Betty Boop: That is so like me. So, how have you been? The last time I checked you were planning to have another baby. Porky Pig (Laughs as he gestures for Porky Pig to sit on the couch). That's the thing about our friendship. We can stay for ages without talking to each other, but when we start talking, it feels like we were speaking yesterday. Betty Boop: Ahaa, birds of a feather. Porky Pig: Yes, I just had another baby. She is the last, as we do not plan on having another. Betty Boop: (Whispering) Are you sure about that? Porky Pig: Positive Elmer Fudd (Porky Pig’s wife): (Walks into the room with two glasses of juice and greets Betty Boop). I heard you were coming, but I was quite busy with the baby. Betty Boop: That is alright. Congratulations on that. Elmer Fudd: Thank you. If you do not mind, I have to go back to attend to the baby. Betty Boop: No problem, that is okay with me. Elmer Fudd: (Addressing her husband). Sweetheart I will see you in a few. Porky Pig: Okay, my queen, I will see you. Betty Boop: (After Elmer Fudd walks out of the living room). Eish. Porky Pig: What? Betty Boop: Love galore. Porky Pig: (Chuckling). If I could I would be married to her twice at the same time. Betty Boop: (Laughs). So where is the movie? Porky Pig: Let me connect my drive to the screen. As I told you, it is an old movie but quite interesting. Betty Boop: You always have your way with surprises. What is its name? Porky Pig: Aladdin. Betty Boop: Aah! Aladdin. That is a movie worth re-watching. I could never get tired of it. You know movies with Will Smith always have great lessons in them. Porky Pig: (After he finishes connecting the different devices to showcase the movie). Will Smith? Betty Boop: Yes. He must have made the movie quite famous. Porky Pig: I did not know any of the animated figures was Will Smith. You are the expert. If you say so, then Will Smith it is. Betty Boop: He is so conspicuous no one can miss him. Wait, are we speaking about the same movie? I am talking about Aladdin produced in 2019. Porky Pig: Aah, I see. For sure, this is a surprise. The Aladdin I have was produced in the 90s.
