Compose a one to two-page word document fact sheet for your organization. This is a piece that would accompany your news release to get straight to the point. Follow the format posted here. Be especially careful to notice how the page(s) are laid out, spacing, etc. When is your company’s anniversary? A reporter or other influencer with no knowledge of your corporation should be able to gain a clear picture from the information supplied in your document. Include your company’s boilerplate at the end of the document. Source outside information if needed (try to do this within the copy). Provide a fictitious quote from a representative. Use AP and complete sentences are not required in a fact sheet, but they are allowed. Pick one and be consistent throughout your document. The example on the last page may include errors to AP – Confirm your work is following AP guidelines).
