On December 6, 2018, Thursday, I got a chance to attend the Rutgers Symphony Band. The concert began at 7:30 p.m. and it was a very good experience for me. The Rutgers Symphony Orchestra is one of the leading conservatory orchestras, featuring the best graduate and undergraduate musicians enrolled at the school. The way the instructor was instructing his students to play their instruments was quite appealing to me. With an annual concert series of several symphonic programs and one main-stage opera, the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra had a lot to get inspired from, such as orchestral musicians were found to be tackling the major symphonic repertoire, which can be seen in the Mahler, Strauss, Beethoven and Brahms Symphonic cycles.
