Movie Review: The Political Independence Of The Chinese Community

Name Professor Course Date Movie Review This movie helped me understand the history of China in a nutshell. This is a documentary which addresses issues based on political independence of the Chinese community. This documentary is very clear and well organized as one can experience the flow of events. This documentary starts at appointing where it tries to analyze the political state after 1949. This period was recorded by the occurrence of an individual named Ge Yang. Ge young was a member of a community political party as the propaganda of communism had spread throughout the land. This propaganda spread in the name of achievement of political equality for everybody. The people were to masters of the country. The starting point of this video is fascinating as it draws one's attention to try to figure out what will happen next and if the propaganda will become true CITATION Wil17 \l 1033 (Lyman, Williams and Tan). The promise was that all the citizens of China would have enough to eat and wear as the country was expected to experience an economic rise. Half of all the land available in China was distributed to peasants and poverty was to a thing of the past. As I watched this part, I felt remorse for the citizens who believed in this propaganda as political independence and eradication of poverty is quite a process which can only be experienced over a long duration of time.
