In US politics, there is high conflict in between the democratic, and republic party. In 2008, Obama caught in an unexpected situation because of his loos language for the working class. The concept behind his aggressive words is the concern regarding the economy in Pennsylvania due to the people acceptance for guns and religions. Consequently, he argued in the statement that they get bitter with guns and religion for their antagonism, anti-trade and anti-immigrant sentiment to show their frustration. The particular scenario becomes tragic for Obama to win in the Pennsylvania region because McCain and Hillary Clinton initiated condemning him and labelled him as elite. Obama’s Statement for Working-Class Voters
At the time of elections in 2018, Obama faced difficulty in winning Pennsylvania’s voters because of their non-responsiveness towards the economic condition. Obama stated that it is obvious that the working class get bitter and cling to guns and religion. He pointed out that he had not found any replacement of the lost jobs in the old industrial town. They got frustrated and showed antipathy against those who are different from them. Those point of views created high criticism against Obama from the political parties in the US and enhanced the excuse for the working-class voters to not for him. In this scenario, Hillary Clinton took advantage of his loose language and used the statement against him in the election to create hate for Obama from the working-class voters in Pennsylvania. She emphasized in her Indiana rally that people with faith do not cling to guns but they are rich in spiritual values. Moreover, Clinton labelled Obama as elitist, which was against his values.
