The Chain and department store needs a competent marketing manager in the online sales department to drive its sales agenda and increase profitability. The company requires a marketing manager position due to the declining sales and reduced customer satisfaction ratings, which have resulted in decreased motivation in the department. Therefore, the organization is looking for an experienced and versatile candidate who can execute their roles properly to ensure the effective functioning and profitability of the department. The qualified candidate must have substantial knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to discover new business leads. They must also be proficient in creating and implementing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring the team. Additionally, they must have a demonstrated history of planning successful product launches and events (Indeed.com, 2023).
The marketing manager role requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, finance, advertising, or a related field and at least five-year of experience in marketing-related fields. A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage. Other critical requirements for this position include excellent communication skills, exceptional analytical skills to predict and identify trends and challenges, superb leadership and collaboration abilities, proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy, proven success in designing networking platforms and interactive applications, critical and creative thinking abilities, and strong project management and decision-making skills (Indeed.com, 2023). These qualifications will enable the accepted marketing manager to address the problems of declining sales and customer satisfaction.
