ISHIKAWA’S BASIC SEVEN TOOLS OF QUALITY.
These tools are arranged in a logical but almost in any order. It is explained in three stages namely early, medium and final stages.
These stages are expounded as below:
1 Process Maps
It refers to a picture of a process. A process is started by creating a map as it exists to determine the parameters of improving it. Process map language vary from simple to complex and has simple rules for it to flow which include developing a general map which is filled by adding more details to each element and using simples to chart the process from beginning, leaving and entering a symbol. SIPOC is an acronym of process map which is used when there is no clear customer base, input specifications exist and when clarifying customer needs.

* Placing checkmarks on the card whenever any the flaws occurs.
Check sheets may also be used to check whether employees adhere to set rules.
3 Histograms
They are graphical representation data using bar. They are mainly used to observing how data behaves in a graph. The following are considerations when drawing histograms:

* Classes set should be mutually exclusive.
It is necessary to determine standard deviation, mean and minimum and maximum value to develop histogram because histogram determine whether data is distributed normally.

See example below.
5 Control charts
They are used when determining whether a given process on a consistent measurable properties produce specific product or service.

It resembles skeleton of a fish in which major causes are ribs, head being the problem and smaller bones being sub-causes. Its drawn when there is a suspicion of occurrence of a situation and for each situation, the facilitator must ask “five why”. It is undertaken using the following steps:
* Stating the problem clearly.
* Determining the major causes and sub-causes.
* For every problem, fill the diagram by asking “five why”.
* Analyze the diagram and identify major causes.
* Initiate object...
