Frankenstein
While quotes provide very direct evidence when it comes to making academic claims and supporting arguments, there's a lot of things they can't really do on their own.
When it comes to writing research papers and proving you've understood what you've read, summaries can go a long way. Similarly, when citing certain instances in the texts you interpret and analyze at the college level, it's often impossible to orient your audience without summaries.
Now that we've finished (or almost finished) Frankenstein, I'm very interested in hearing about one thing in particular:
Do you think Victor Frankenstein is a good person or a bad person? Or is he both? Or is he neither?

The novel is about Victor Frankenstein narrating a story to Captain Walton. As seen in the novel guide, victor Frankenstein is a good scientist, but many actions show that he is a bad person. He isolated himself and created a human monster, later regretted his actions. The monster killed William and framed it on Justin. Victor had the power to protect Justine from a death sentence, but instead, victor Frankenstein kept quiet about it.
