Due to different ideologies and how people view things, conflicts may arise for example a case to do with parents, kids and institutions. Conflicts are evident when each group has some things, which they appreciate and regard while the other group may not appreciate the same ideologies. Since the parents grew in the native culture and have been immersed in the culture, therefore they pressurize the kids who are growing in a different set up with different beliefs and traditions making it hard for the kids to strike a balance. What parents appreciate may not be what the kids appreciate. For example, parents may want their kids to hold on to a certain dressing code due to their culture while the kids due to the kind of environment they are exposed to, may find it hard to embrace it since the kind of environment they are in is surrounded by a different culture where things are done differently.
This cause conflicts to arise between parents and their children. Due to the pressure kids get from both sides, kids want to conform to the standards of the new environment if they are immigrants even though they love their culture and sympathize with their parents. Parents may wish their children maintained the native culture, which they brought with them so that the culture is not dumped by embracing a new culture, which is contrary to theirs. The different point of view between the parents and the kids about what they really want strengthens the conflicts. Parents want their children to have successful life while children have different goals and objectives.
School institutions are a mixture of children from different cultures thus comprises of different ideologies. Teachers want the parents to understand that native culture cannot be maintained throughout as kids are learning new things and are being...
