An organization is a group of people or entities combining their efforts to accomplish a common objective (Bernard, 2020 pg. 52). It can be either a formal or informal structure, such as a business, government, or non-profit institution. Organizations are typically divided into departments and teams, each carrying out specific duties to contribute towards its overall goal. On the other hand, an enterprise is a large-scale firm or business venture, usually characterized by a high degree of complexity and a high level of risk. Enterprises can range from large corporations to small businesses and can include any number of different types of companies, such as manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and technology.
