As the name suggests, a service is offered in action, and an individual enjoys it through experience. It, therefore, cannot be owned or stored since it quickly expires after a short duration of the action. In business, services are the intangible products customers receive in exchange for their money. The four elements of service are intangibility, inconsistency, inseparability, and inventory. These four elements reflect the qualities of any given service, which ultimately also affects the customers' experience and the likelihood of these customers returning for more of the same.
