I was looking for an apartment, and the person who contacted me first quoted his rental fees and what services were available, but he provided an unusually long lease agreement. At the time, I did not take time to go through the agreement, and I was desperate to find an apartment. However, I evaluated the options available by contacting more landlords and agencies in the area while comparing information online. It appeared that I was being overcharged $ 150 per month compared to similar houses, and there was a fixed fee for utilities at a higher fee. Therefore, I need to compare the location, rent, and building space to make the most suitable decision. After research, I narrowed down the choices and chose one that was spacious, affordable, and in a location near the workplace, and easy to commute.
