(a) Based on your experience and observation, what do you see as the major strengths and weaknesses of the U.S. health care system or any country's health care system that you are familiar with?  THE US HEALTH CARE SYSTEM United States of America does not embrace a resolute healthcare system analogous to the conventional laissez faire practices that have progressed over time. The core facet is a monetary structure that pays for health care services by way of employer-procured indemnity. Previously, patients had the right to choose any physician, at the same time physicians have the freedom to choose among specialties in terms of practicing where and how they deem fit. New managed care schemes increasingly restrict both of these options. Market incentives encourage the creation of new drugs and quality treatment. Group health insurance procured by workers emerged during WW11, a period when wage freezes caused workers to offer benefits as a means to compete for workers. Virtually every reform from the early 70s has sought to expand this idea. More than 1200 private insurance firms offer indemnity services across the United States. For some of the indemnified, the government pays for health care by way of Medicare, Medicaid, the armed forces, Narrative Americans, including the Veterans Administration in addition to other programs.
