Man is a creature who was created to try his fortune by every means. For this reason, the high percent of those who are not lucky to get the white color jobs try their best to survive by opening different businesses provided they get an income. Business in America was problematic to start since not everyone could start the business and even those who tried their fortune they hand several obstacles to fulfill their dream. The main obstacle to start a business in America was racial discrimination. ( Cruz, 1975).The white were so selfish that they could not offer any job opportunity to the black but the Mexicans were little bit lucky as they could get the minority jobs.
As Cruz moves up the money-making ladder, he came across some upcoming conflict which kept him from been content and he was proud of his accomplishment. This was a good fortune to Cruz but not to every one since what make him proud is his determination and the taking of risks. He explains that for one to success I the American Dreams, one should be aware that this is not governed by education, opportunity nor hard work but by power and fear and he explains that the higher you go in an organization the more you have to lose showing exactly that education didn`t work in the American Dream..
