Introduction
This paper aims at discoursing on the roles that are played by several stakeholders with the aim of improving the labor standards in developing countries, with particular emphasis on the poignant role of some of the multinational corporations (MNCs) that have been noted as rather exploitive to different developing economies. It is essential to note that the MNCs are often required to improve the labor standards within the developing economies through the incorporation of other key players such as the donor agencies, and the national and international labor unions that engage in economic contexts (Mayer, p605). However, these roles have never been realized considering the fact that the MNCs are directed towards the achievement of profits while the developing countries are caught up in the exploitation of its human resources. This paper therefore seeks to conduct a study aimed at determining the manner in which the MNCs in developing countries exploit human resources.
Thesis:
The aspect of free trade has opened trade opportunities for different multinational organizations to operate in developing economies within the globalized business world. However, free trade does not warrant for the benefiting of economic elites from developing countries that are focused on suppressing the poor and increasing their wealth inequality.
MNCs Labor Exploitation
In one of the new editorials, Richard Quest interviews one of the filmmakers Robert Romano in discusses the manner in which slavery has taken course in Africa on CNN. The panelist eludes that:
"The International Labor Organization has discovered that there are close to 72 million African children who work in agricultural firms with many of this population working in their own family’s farms. Some of the largest coco-producing countries that account for 60%of the global coco production employ children".

Multinational Companies that operate in developing countries are primarily focused on the maximization of profits and meeting the returns to its shareholders. This can considerably be achieved through the decrease of costs and increasing the organizations revenues (Henslin, M). The increase of organizations revenue remains one of the ethical approaches that these organizations can maximize their profits since this requires that the processes of outsourcing are employed.
However, in nations where the economic growth is considerably lower, the demand in the supply of labor tends to raise, a factor that sees the wages rates drop since there are no price flaws developed by a nations minimum requirements of wage. The capitalists system supported by protectionism has found opportunities to enjoy the luxurious of these law and marginal costs of unskilled labor (Henslin, M). This has resulted in the exploitation of close to 168 million children who are currently working as laborers in the world, thus depicting the manner in which globalized trade as led by the capitalist exploits workers in the developing economies.
