Mass media increases cultural diversity. Various forms of media reach a large audience across the globe and in the process, influences views, ideas, opinions, and culture. Individuals share their beliefs, customs, and perceptions, which others consume or understand about a different culture (Larrazet and Isabelle 4). For example, people learn about eating customs of different groups, races, and ethnicities through mass media. The social media has had significant influence on this area.
