The speed I was used to was that for vehicles on the road. That was before a Hurricane Michael struck Florida. We heard of the warnings, and geographical experts advising people to take extra care. When we heard of fatal speeds of winds and the categories with which hurricanes struck, there was an abnormal anxiety ell over.
October 2018, one Saturday evening, the winds began blowing fast, intense, and determined. At first, I thought the nearby forests and trees would contain it.
