A Makeup Religion
My makeup religion would consist of a god, a chief prophet, his assistants, and the people with specific roles to play based on their gender. The god will be the sun. Despite scientists describing and explaining, the sun is a powerful thing that has not managed to convince the world where it gets the strength to stand in the middle and light up the world. Therefore, the sun will be the god, and rising from the east will mean he has come up to monitor his people and give them light. When it fails to come up; when covered by the clouds, or when it is in the tropics and can only be seen for a short time, people will have to offer sacrifice in the form of a virgin girl because it means the god is angry. The chief prophet will be the founder of this religion and will habve a sense of the miraculous.
