The Lady with the Pet Dog
The lady with the pet dog is one of the best of writing Chekhov has produced and as a love story the art was received well by his audience. Using few words, Chekhov conveys the emotional complexity and preserves the intensity of the character`s feelings. The character Dmitry Gurov more so shows this. The way Chekhov writes is as if he was painting a canvas, developing a grand scope with an intimate feel and again this is well executed using all characters, but Gurov portrays it better. Dmitri Gurov is a favorite character in this art.
