MY IDEAL VACATION
Every year, most people look forward to their summer or to any time of the year that they can take leave and spend their vacation. Vacation can be represented in many forms. It can be spending your carefree days at home or going somewhere to enjoy your days away from home. Some spend their vacation by traveling to different places and experience different cultures. My ideal vacation is simple.
An ideal vacation involves the beach, going fishing, spending time with my dog, and some catching up with my friends. Spending my time in a town where the stress of the city life cannot follow me sounds ideal. A small town wherein people know each other and help one another to maintain harmony within the community. Despite the size of this town, this place is always flocked with tourists due to its amazing tourist places and scenic view and their white sand beaches. Tourists from different races enjoy talking to the local townsfolk in this town since everyone is friendly and can communicate with the basic English language. There are resorts, guesthouses, and hotels around the area that one can choose from according to their budget. Winter does not exist in this place. It is like summer the whole year-round. The weather is always warm and nice. No one knows you and no one would judge you. Being able to do whatever you can on a vacation is very ideal.
Upon arriving at the pier, one can already feel the ocean breeze blowing away the stresses from the city life. The smiles from the local people will greet you upon your arrival. Choosing a nice and affordable hotel or a nice resort fronting the beach would top the list of this ideal vacation. This hotel doesn’t have to be the 5-star kind of hotel. It has a simple facility that has ornaments and decorations which are arranged in a way that the culture of this place is represented. A tiresome journey can be relieved in this quiet and nice hotel. The room is spacious enough for two persons, but in my case, with a dog. There’s a balcony where one can enjoy the view from the sea and enjoy sunset every afternoon. There’s also a bathroom which is decorated with frames and cabinets made up of woods and stones designed by the locals. The shower has no heater for tourists to enjoy the cold water of the shower from spending their day outdoors.
The hotel also offers various kinds of outdoor and water sports activities. This includes beach volleyball, kayaking, banana boat ride, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc. There’s a small island that can be reached in 30 minutes by a boat ride. There are also three swimming pools to choose from to be refreshed. If one wants to enjoy the seawater, it is very accessible to everyone who is checked-in the hotel as it is only a few feet away from the rooms.
