Summary Paper
Contrary to what most would think, the domination of humankind by robots would be different from what we imagined. In one article written by Nicholas Carr entitled Is Google Making us Stupid, the inception of Google (and other powerful search engines) has made humans heavily dependent on using these platforms to learn what they need. Thus, we become less determined to learn things independently, knowing that software could provide all the answers that we need in just a single click. Aside from this, Carr also noted that this overreliance on Google can also lead to the shortening of our attention span and reducing our concentration.
