Scholarship Statement
I am Thuong Nguten from Vietnam, taking Accounting Major at the Houston Community College and I would like to transfer the University of Houston. Before coming to the united states, I worked two jobs, at an accounting firm and at my father’s restaurant. The two ventures helped gain enough experience, however the central goal for taking on the jobs was so that I could assist my father raise the money for me to take my studies. At the same time, I helped my parents raise enough money for my four siblings who are still in middle school.
