A Note About Organization
The easiest way to organize this essay is to have an intro, a body paragraph for each essay (so 3), and a conclusion. Your thesis should make an assertion about how you grew as a writer this semester. That will be the argument that your support (the analysis of your growth through the three essays) will support. Here are some things to consider while you are drafting:
Effective Self-Evaluation
Include specific, quantifiable results.
Avoid lists, bullet points, or reliance on only grades.
Incorporate feedback that you have received, and how you used, incorporated, responded to, and benefited from that feedback.
Showcase what makes you unique, and how you differentiate yourself from others.
Include 2-3 areas for continued growth – meaning things you should and will continue to work on and improve.
These can be skills, experiences, or academic practices (like time management).

Compare your first writing assignment in this class to your most recent.
Think about what has changed. Think about specific moments and experiences.
Remember that narrative, specifics, and details are the most compelling.
Be honest with yourself. What should you have done that you didn’t?
Don’t be afraid to brag – a little.
Where did you really excel – where did hard work really pay off?
Think about how the skills you’ve been building in this class will benefit your future.

Reflecting on a Semester of Growth in Writing: A Personal Narrative
This semester has made ENGL1301 my road to personal development and growth academically and as a whole person. Writing about "Twilight," how popular media affects culture, and how video games contain numerous benefits, I have become more aware and skilled in writing. This essay focuses on my writing progress by bringing out problems I overcame, my response to feedback, and my growth in critical thinking.
Enhancing Critical Perspective
My first assignment was a critical analysis of the movie Twilight. This assignment was a breakthrough for me because it developed my writing functional skills. Then, my ability was superficial because I guided the plot instead of trying to characterize the inner forces that caused the film's influence. The advice I got helped me to come to the insight of paying more attention to real situations—that is, to consider the psychological nature of the story and the director's apparent decisions. I discovered that revision of the narrative helps ask what and why during my essay revision. It brought to light the need for a multi-factor argument.
The transmutation aspect of this experience is evident not only when it comes to the components of the film as discussed here but also includes character development, visual effects, and the narrative structure. Evaluating these parts, I realized the involvement of the isolated elements in altogether producing the effect of the film as a whole. Additionally, investigating Bella Swan's personality traits has helped show the issues one may encounter when trying to create an easily relatable and intriguing protagonist when the main plot is incredible. Such analysis gave me a chance to perceive how the snapshots of realism depict the fantastic events via the aspirations and challenges of the characters.
In the same vein, examining how data obtained from the analysis of the audience is used to strengthen the claim that the film makes indicated to me the evidence-based process of criticizing the text.
