According to research by Michigan state university, Ravizza argues that laptop use in classrooms affects learners negatively. They continue that laptop use is very addictive and distractive. Students do not use the laptops concerning course content and are however clouding the internet platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. In their research, it was noted that the majority of students using the laptop deviate from the content of class into chatting, playing games, and downloading movies from the internet. This factor was found to be contributive to their poor performance in the examination.
