Homer was a Greek philosopher, born between the 12th and 18th centuries, BC in Asia Minor. His works were on poems and literature, influencing a large population through works like Odyssey. Mysteries existed on the kind of man he was, with other sources suggesting the poems written were done by a group, based on the style they were performed. This was not proved. Nonetheless, he influenced a lot in western philosophy, as described herein.
