Diversity refers to people’s differences. In the same way that students in the school come from different places and cultures, the current workplaces comprise of individuals from distinct religions and ethnicities. As such, diversity in the workplace is broader, and people are more independent than in school. The United States of America (USA) has diverse groups of individuals, and one must learn how to live and work with them without conflicts. People from different cultures do things distinctively, and they have unique talents.
Some of the factors that make people diverse include religion, family, gender, eating behavior, age, and language. Others are behaviors, perception of time, personal space, and greetings. For example, some people do not like speaking to others while they are so close to them since they feel like their personal space is intruded.
