After completing the readings for the week, respond to the following questions regarding plot and characterization, using the correct terminology. For each

Plot and characterization
The U&P story by Updike has represented the basic plot elements of climax and resolution effectively. The climax of the story plays an important role of capturing the reader’s attention hence making them to have the eager of knowing what happened next. The writer shows the climax at the point whereby the three girl’s embarrassed by the manager and then Sammy quits whatever he was up to. As well, the resolution leaves the reader with questions of what could have happened next given the fact that that resolution was changed. The resolution of the story is that Sammy remembers that his aim was to become a hero and starts looking for other girls.
