Describe the relationship between colonial rule and nationalism in the Middle East from the pre-WWI to a post-World War 2 time period and on the Indian sub-continent, particularly in the period of the 1930s and 1940s.
You will want to focus primarily on Britain as the colonial ruler in the Middle East (Palestine, Egypt) and India. (Consider looking up/researching Gandhi, Indian nationalism, Palestine in particular.)
